Tyler Tuesday: Paying my respects.....

On this Tyler Tuesday, I visited Tyler's grave.

The final resting place of my first ever cat.

Tyler.

I hadn't visited since before the winter, so I wanted to make sure nothing was damaged, and that his gravestone was still in place.

Despite some overgrowth, and some dog poop nearby, all was in order.  Ashley and I plan on doing some beautification to his grave site in the next week or so.  Well....more her than me.  She's Italian with a green thumb.....I happen to be the polar opposite.

It wasn't a long visit, but I stood at his grave for a few moments.

Reflecting.  Remembering.

"I love you and miss you old man"  I muttered just under my breath.

If you have the good fortune of a final resting place for your beloved pet that crossed the Rainbow Bridge, taking a piece of your heart with them.....pay them a visit soon.  If you aren't so fortunate, find a favorite photo of your beloved pet.

Reflect.

Remember.

I'm convinced that wherever the Rainbow Bridge happens to be, they know........

Until we meet again.

For no other reason Dan - you are a good man for loving and honoring your cat. The loss of my boy, Cajun, last November is still raw and now his brother from a different mother is declining. Time and disease waits for no man nor animal and so the time and love afforded to them is precious. Peace to you....
