Sophie's Magic Fountain!

Actually that fountain she's drinking from isn't magic, it's just our bathroom faucet, I just thought that would make a cute title for this blog post.

It's a play on an old Tarzan movie title, Tarzan's Magic Fountain, from 1949.  The first starring Rex Barker as a rather forgettable Tarzan following the retirement of Johnny Weissmuller, the definitive Tarzan if ever there was one.

Anyway, am I blogging about cats or old Tarzan movies??

Here's Sophie, Tyler's successor in every possible way, drinking from the same faucet he once guzzled from....ENJOY!

Originally written in May 2015.  September 11 th .  2001. That day of days.   I was working at the time at BAM: the Brooklyn Academy of Music.  Even then it was what a former girlfriend referred to as “hipster doofus.”  BAM is a Brooklyn performing arts institution.  Modern dance, modern arts, from what I understand they put on great shows.  I did see Pete Townshend there once.  I, however, can't dance.
