A Love

A phrase I've been using a lot lately?

He's SUCH A LOVE.

Yes, I'm talking about Tucker.

Tucker is the ultimate love bug.

He loves love.  He loves to get love, to give love.

To just......be loved.

Take these photos of Tucker and  Minnie for proof of what I'm talking about.

Tucker and Minnie are in LOVE.

He loves her, she loves him.

They cuddle, they clean each other, they chase, they play fight.  The sleep next to each other.

He watches over him, she keeps him clean.

I think we can all learn from Tucker and Minnie and the meaning of TRUE LOVE.

I mean, think about it: Minnie, until early 2018 was a homeless stray cat who happened to show up at our door at just the right time.  Tucker was a shelter cat who, for the first 3.5 years of his life knew NOTHING but shelter life.

Now look at them.

If this isn't true, unconditional love, I don't know what is.

Originally written in May 2015.  September 11 th .  2001. That day of days.   I was working at the time at BAM: the Brooklyn Academy of Music.  Even then it was what a former girlfriend referred to as “hipster doofus.”  BAM is a Brooklyn performing arts institution.  Modern dance, modern arts, from what I understand they put on great shows.  I did see Pete Townshend there once.  I, however, can't dance. I look like I’m making wine when I dance. STOMP STOMP STOMP.  It isn't pretty.  The rest of the area had yet to become the hip downtown Brooklyn it has since become.  I grew up walking distance to the Cyclone, so I remember the REAL Brooklyn.
